I started using gay chat rooms years ago, so many I'm
not going to tell you ;o) but even way back then before texting, abbreviations
were used and I can clearly remember thinking what the heck is this guy
going on about & leaving the chatroom as I didn't want to sound
an idiot!
So, in an effort to help anyone that is new to gay chatrooms
here's a few that I know:
- 2 = too, to, two
- 2nite = tonight
- 4 = for, four
- bf = boyfriend
- boi = boy
- bi = Bisexual
- brb = be right back
- btm = bottom
- c = cut
- d/d = drug and disease free
- gurl = girl
- k = okay
- LMAO = laugh my ass off
- LOL = laugh out loud
- ltr = long term relationship
- m8 = mate
- MFI = Mad For It
- np = no problem
- pic = picture
- ROFLMAO = Rolling on floor laughing my ass off!
- r = are
- sn = screen name
- stats = your info (weight,
height, age.)
- str8 = straight
- thx = thanks
- uc = uncut
- ur = your, you are
- vers = versatile
- wb = welcome back
- y = why
- yo = years old
- u = you
